Staff collection for local food bank

Staff at Willowbrook Medical Practice are giving back to the community with donations of food, clothing and toys to the local food bank. These are just some of the goods that were donated for the Mary’s food bank at St. Mary’s Church in Sutton-in-Ashfield.

Anyone wishing to donate tinned food or dried goods, or donate money, can do so via the Pink Bucket in St. Mary’s Church or the Magdalene Centre.

Helping the homeless

Staff also generously donated money to help All Saints Centre in Huthwaite to buy clothes, shoes, toiletries and toys for the homeless. These will be made up in to hampers and given to the homeless on Christmas day.

Staff at Willowbrook Medical Practice had a Christmas Jumper Day on 14 December to raise money for Save the Children. 
We managed to raise £73 from donations for wearing Christmas themed clothing and a sweep-stake to guess the name of the Christmas Celebrity.
