Extended GP Access – Sunday and Bank Holiday Service

From 1 April 2019 both Abbey Medical Group and Sherwood Medical Partnership will be the provider of a Sunday and Bank Holiday Extended GP Access service providing primary care services to patients registered with practices across Mansfield, Ashfield and Sherwood PCNs. The previous provider was Forest Medical Practice.

The service will be provided on alternate weekends from either Blidworth Surgery or Crown Medical Centre (Clipstone) and will be contracted up until 30 September 2019 initially. The service will provide continuous 15 minute GP and Nursing appointments from 08:00 to 10:00 every Sunday and Bank Holiday and is a routine, pre-bookable service only.

The first operational day is Sunday 7 April 2019.
